The DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 30 points or more this season. They blew past Timnath 60-30 on the road. Given DSST: Conservatory Green's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while Timnath is ranked 269th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Azar Ghezae was his usual excellent self, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. The contest was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. Sane Toure was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.

DSST: Conservatory Green will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aurora Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Hopefully Aurora Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
