Northview can attribute much of their success to Madeleine Atallah, who posted 17 points, and Daviona Randolph, who scored 18 points. Those 17 points gave Atallah a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Fountain, who put up seven points.
Meanwhile, Tate waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with a 44-24 victory.
Northview better focus on containing Amerie McGee and Sam Williams as the pair were huge in Tate's win. McGee had ten points, while Williams posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Mitchell, who earned seven points.
Northview's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Tate, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
