Baseball Game Preview: Middlesboro Yellowjackets vs. Lynn Camp Wildcats

Middlesboro has gone a perfect 7-0 against Lynn Camp recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Lynn Camp took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Middlesboro, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Middlesboro got the win against Pineville by a conclusive 15-5. Considering the Yellowjackets have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Lynn Camp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 13-8 to Owsley County.

Middlesboro has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Lynn Camp, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Everything went Middlesboro's way against Lynn Camp in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Middlesboro made off with an 18-1 win. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
