Legg made the most of the opportunity, scoring four points along with two steals. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Meanwhile, Miller School of Albemarle entered their tilt with Hargrave Military Academy with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Miller School of Albemarle blew past Hargrave Military Academy, posting a 80-42 victory at home. Miller School of Albemarle has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.
Miller School of Albemarle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Crotty, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 1 assist. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Dyer, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Fishburne Military's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-16. As for Miller School of Albemarle, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Fishburne Military have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Miller School of Albemarle struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.1 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
