Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, New Hampton should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They take on Waukon at 7:30 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win.
New Hampton came up short against Charles City last Friday, falling 9-21.
Meanwhile, Waukon strolled past Crestwood with points to spare, taking the contest 22-7.
Waukon's victory lifted them to 1-1 while New Hampton's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Waukon can add another positive mark to their record or if New Hampton can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Waukon's step.
