Grant Stupak Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Ludlowe got the W thanks in part to Grant Stupak playing the best football he has all season. Stupak threw for 385 yards and six touchdowns while completing 86.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win was the third in a row for Ludlowe, bringing their record for this year to 7-2. Stupak and Ludlowe will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Warde at 10:00 a.m. on November 28th.

Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns from Ben Rolapp
Darien was led to victory by Ben Rolapp, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Rolapp wasn't messing around, throwing for 390 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 41 yards and two touchdowns. The matchup was his fourth straight with three or more passing touchdowns.
The win (which was Darien's sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Rolapp and Darien will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on New Canaan at 10:00 a.m. on November 28th.

Charlie Calabrese Has Career-Day on Friday
Charlie Calabrese produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wilton to the win on Friday. Calabrese rushed for 207 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Wilton: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
Wilton moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Calabrese and Wilton will challenge Xavier at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Liam Bond Leads Ludlowe over Norwalk
Liam Bond produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Ludlowe to the win on Friday. Bond picked up 128 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 57 yards.
Unfortunately for Norwalk, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bond. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Bond saw the Bears), he rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Dennis Dustin Makes It Two for Wilton
The second Wilton player making an appearance here is Dennis Dustin, and for good reason. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
On the year, Dustin has run in those 2 touchdowns while averaging 20.7 rushing yards per game.
