After two weeks on the road, Wyoming Area is heading back home. On Friday they take on Elmer L. Meyers at 7:00 PM. Wyoming Area have bulldozed their previous six opponents, so Elmer L. Meyers might have their hands full.
It was all tied up at the half for Wyoming Area and Lake-Lehman last Friday, but Wyoming Area stepped up in the second half. Wyoming Area blew past Lake-Lehman 29-7. No one put up better numbers for Wyoming Area than junior Dominic Deluca, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 52 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs. Deluca has been a consistent playmaker for Wyoming Area as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Elmer L. Meyers put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 51-27 margin over Susquehanna. Elmer L. Meyers were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Elmer L. Meyers to 4-2 and Wyoming Area to 6-0. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
