SEED DC got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Wendell Allsbrook out in front who scored 19 points. Allsbrook has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last four times he's played. Noah Mercer was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Richard Wright Public Charter School's defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.9 points per game.
