The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They breezed by Heritage on the road to the tune of 63-30. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Mt. Pulaski has managed all season.
Despite the defeat, Heritage saw an underclassman step up: Rylan White dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Mt. Pulaski's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9. As for Heritage, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Mt. Pulaski will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Salt Fork at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Heritage, they will play host again and welcome Georgetown-Ridge Farm, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Georgetown-Ridge Farm is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
