The Turlock Christian Eagles won the last time they faced the Elliot Christian Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Turlock Christian walked away with a 63-52 victory over Elliot Christian.
Turlock Christian was led to victory by Ben Bylsma and Raphael Babba. Bylsma scored 23 points along with three steals, while Babba scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Michael Miller, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Turlock Christian's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-11. As for Elliot Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turlock Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Venture Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. One thing working in Venture Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Elliot Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Big Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Valley Christian and Elliot Christian are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
