On Friday, Augusta is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Athens at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Last Friday, Augusta couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 0-36 loss at the hands of Cornell/Lake Holcombe.
Meanwhile,, Athens have to be hurting after a devastating 6-28 defeat at the hands of Rib Lake-Prentice last week.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
