The Kiefer Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Westville Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kiefer has ten straight wins, Westville has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Kiefer can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 68-6 victory over Beggs at home. Given Kiefer's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Beggs is ranked 116th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kiefer had a senior duo take command as Jaxon Worley threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes and Jentry Pendergraft gained 100 total yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Breland, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Westville took a serious blow against Morris on Friday, falling 50-22.
Kiefer's win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.9 points. As for Westville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Everything came up roses for Kiefer against Westville in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 44-16 victory. Does Kiefer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
