Sickles came tearing into  Thursday's  game with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  an   8-4  win over the Steinbrenner Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  5-4  last Thursday.
 Charlie Martz was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  he  hit this season.  Jordan Yost was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing  Two bases. while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Sickles  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  strikeout total in three consecutive  matches.
Sickles' record now sits at 9-3. As for Steinbrenner, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Sickles will head out to  challenge Tampa Catholic  at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Tampa Catholic's pitching crew has only allowed 1.7  runs per game  this season, so Sickles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Steinbrenner, they will be taking part in a tournament against Robinson  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Steinbrenner is facing Robinson at the right time seeing as Robinson is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
