Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pharr-San Juan-Alamo). They put the hurt on the Economedes Jaguars with a sharp 17-5 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Jacob Delgadillo made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
