They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 47-27 walloping at the hands of Mountain View. Hot Springs County has struggled against the Buffalos recently, as their match on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dazlynn Hunt, who scored four points along with four steals. Hunt is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Austin Slagle was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five rebounds.
Hot Springs County has not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Mountain View, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hot Springs County will take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain View, they and the Tigers will face off at 4:30 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Wyoming (Lander Valley is ranked 17th, while the Buffalos are ranked ninth).
