While it was all tied up 33-33 at halftime, the Norwalk Bears were not quite the St. Joseph Cadets's equal in the second half on Tuesday. Norwalk took a 73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Joseph. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Tj Wright was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with five assists and three steals for St. Joseph. That makes it five consecutive games in which Wright has scored at least a third of St. Joseph's points. Another player making a difference was Sean Christy, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five blocks.
Norwalk's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5. As for St. Joseph, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwalk will take on Ludlowe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ludlowe will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Amistad at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
