Meanwhile, Central Cabarrus put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Concord 90-52 on the road. Central Cabarrus has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Central Cabarrus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chase Daniel, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten assists. Josh Dalton was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with three blocks.
Lake Norman Charter's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14. As for Central Cabarrus, their win was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-0.
