After flying high against New Washington  last Monday, Clarksville came back down to earth. The Generals fell  10-7 to the Borden Braves on Wednesday. The Generals were not able to make up for their  loss to the Braves from their previous meeting  back in May of 2024.
  Bailey Senior made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 3-for-3.  Tiarra Lewis was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
Clarksville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Borden, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksville will welcome Christian Academy  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The  game will  give the Generals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Borden, they will host Shoals  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. The timing is sure in the Braves' favor as the  squad sits on four straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Jug Rox have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
