The Mukwonago Indians will head out to square off against the Indian Trail Hawks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mukwonago has eight straight wins, Indian Trail has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Mukwonago's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Waukesha South 10-0. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Easton Ahrens looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Mukwonago got a massive performance out of Adam Kudronowicz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Austin Arnold, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Mukwonago always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Indian Trail came up short against Franklin on Friday and fell 4-1.
Briar Thoe was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Indian Trail saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Minatto, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Mukwonago pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Indian Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Mukwonago has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Indian Trail struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
