The Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers lost against the DRW College Prep Cheetahs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Noble Street College Prep's tough 74-53 defeat to DRW College Prep might stick with them for a while. Noble Street College Prep has not had much luck with DRW College Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Anthony Mota and Rain Laroche certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Mota scored 13 points, while Laroche scored 12 points. The matchup was Laroche's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Rodriguez, who scored seven points.
Isaiah Jimenez was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 26 points. Another player making a difference was Quintin Cantrell, who scored ten points.
Noble Street College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for DRW College Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Noble Street College Prep will challenge Yeshiva at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DRW College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Mansueto at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
