Baseball Recap: First Assembly Christian Gets the Win

First Assembly Christian won against Millington Central on Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Crusaders' pitcher stepped up to hand the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles a 5-0 shutout. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Jadan Santucci, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep St. Benedict at Auburndale off the board.

First Assembly Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-19. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-14.

First Assembly Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-3 victory against Lausanne Collegiate on the 27th. St. Benedict at Auburndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
