After flying high against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle last week, the Osakis Silverstreaks came back down to earth. Last Friday, Osakis lost to the Parkers Prairie Panthers on the road by a decisive 60-49 margin. If Osakis was hoping to take revenge for the 63-40 defeat against Parkers Prairie when the teams met last January, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped the Silverstreaks back to even at 10-10. The win -- their fourth in a row -- raised Parkers Prairie's record to 13-6.
Osakis will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Benson. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close game. Parkers Prairie will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against Browerville on Tuesday. Unlike Parkers Prairie, Browerville will be limping in after taking a loss.
