The Southeast Alamance Stallions posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Graham 81-45 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southeast Alamance.
Southeast Alamance's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Davian Edwards led the charge by scoring 19 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Cardell West, who scored 16 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Graham saw an underclassman step up: Micah Woods scored 29 points. That was a full 64.4% of Graham's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jaylan Sinclair was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Southeast Alamance's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Graham, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Southeast Alamance the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Cummings at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Cummings is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Graham, they will head out on the road to take on Bartlett Yancey at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bartlett Yancey has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three contests.
