Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Florence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Nelson, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nelson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Stenson, who scored nine points along with seven steals.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah McKinney, who scored seven points along with four steals. Christian Mullady was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Florence is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Florence will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gilbert Christian at 7:00 p.m. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Palo Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
