Blackville-Hilda found their leader in underclassman Breyanna Wiliiams , who scored 8 points along with 7 blocks and 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zaria Smalls , who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Pelion's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Blackville-Hilda, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Pelion will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wagener-Salley at 6:00 p.m. Blackville-Hilda will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hunter-Kinard-Tyler at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
