There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. Among the action were the efforts of Del City's sophomore Jahkobie Smith, an offensive menace who scored six total TDs.
Welcome
The power rankings welcomes a newcomer to the scene as Duncan earned the 24th spot after its strong showing last week. Everything went its way against Western Heights as it secured a 49 - 7 win. At 42 points, that marked Duncan's largest margin of victory so far this year.
No Stoppin 'Em
Bethany was the big favorite in its game against Harrah last week, and for good reason. Bethany breezed past Harrah with a final score of 56 - 28. The Harrah defense has struggled this season (giving up an average of 32 points per game), and Bethany took advantage of that. The combined 84 points was the most of any game featuring a power-ranked team.
This Week's Big Showdown
One of the hottest tickets last week involved the clash between Bixby (5th in the power rankings) and Washington (9th). Bixby was able to grind out a solid victory over Washington, winning 21 - 7. The triumph took its toll on the QB, however, as he was sacked nine times.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Jenks (2nd in the power rankings) and Yukon (19th). Jenks is backed by a win while Yukon is motivated by a recent defeat. Will Jenks repeat its success, or will Yukon bounce back and dish team a loss? Check back after their contest Friday for the full scoop.
