The Schulenburg Shorthorns can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took down Louise 43-24. The victory was just what Schulenburg needed coming off of a 62-30 defeat in their prior matchup.
Schulenburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Grace Schramek out in front who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Alana Herzik was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Schulenburg's win bumped their record up to 6-23. As for Louise, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Ganado the next time they take the court. Schulenburg will head out to face Ganado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Louise will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
