The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops will square off against the Grove City Christian Eagles at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Rosecrans is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Everything went their way against Wellington School on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Jeff Collins spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Peyton Fillinger, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Jadunn Harris was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Grove City Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 12.6.
Grove City Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Bishop Rosecrans, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bishop Rosecrans hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like Grove City Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .342. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
