It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Hudson Explorers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past Kenston 55-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hudson also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Several Bombers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Morgan Cicek, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Manis, who scored 13 points.
The victory got Hudson back to even at 1-1. As for Kenston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Hudson will head out on the road to face off against Stow-Munroe Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kenston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
