Ronnie Bertelsmeyer of Park Hill South ran for the longest rushing play in Suburban - Red this season against Liberty North last week. Bertelsmeyer ran for 91 yards on the play and finished with 269 on the day as his team topped the Eagles.
Lee's Summit West added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Ruskin, 56-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Titans.
Park Hill South's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Carson Reid threw for 47 yards and Ryan Cockriel had 33 yards receiving. On the ground Bertelsmeyer chipped in 269 yards. Scott Cline helped Park Hill South's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 10 yards.

Bertelsmeyer was a passing and rushing force as the Panthers beat Ken Clemens' team. Bertelsmeyer's key target this week was Cockriel, who caught 11 passes for 33 yards.

6-foot-5 quarterback Thomas Ganaden of Lee's Summit West is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,632. He has also thrown 15 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Griffith. The Park Hill South star has 33 catches for 641 yards.
As it stands, the Panthers are in second, while Park Hill is in fourth.
Park Hill South moved up to 37 from 67 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers were able to move up by defeating Liberty North 28-0.
