The Coral Springs Charter Panthers pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Flanagan by a score of 62-60. Coral Springs Charter has struggled against the Falcons recently, as their match on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jurgen Meza, who scored 29 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Meza has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jalen McGregor, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Coral Springs Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Flanagan, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-15.
Coral Springs Charter will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Eagles on February 6th. Calvary Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Panthers in Florida (the Eagles are ranked 17th, while the Panthers are ranked 675th). As for Flanagan, they will face off against the Bobcats at TBD on Tuesday.
