Messalonskee Gets a Boost from Doucette in 26-20 Defeat
Starting off the list is Messalonskee's Tatum Doucette, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Doucette rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. Gary Harkins Turns in Season-Best Effort
Mt. Blue came up short on Friday despite Gary Harkins delivering his best game to date. Harkins threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
