Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bethany Community). They secured a 71-66 W over the Clover Garden School Grizzlies on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their 30-point performance the match before.

Bethany Community found their leader in sophomore Elijah Harvey, who posted 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harvey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alex Bullard, who had eight points.

Despite the loss, Clover Garden School still got an impressive performance from Brayden DeAlto, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. DeAlto is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Saunders, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Bethany Community's win bumped their record up to 4-24. As for Clover Garden School, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Bethany Community will welcome Community Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bethany Community is facing Community Baptist at the right time seeing as Community Baptist is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Clover Garden School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-51 victory against Phoenix Academy on the 7th.
