New Waverly's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Onalaska Wildcats. Considering the Bulldogs have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaelynn Stewart made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.
