The Tuckerman Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Westside Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Tuckerman will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
Westside's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Tuckerman hadn't allowed a single run the last six times they've hit the field. The Bulldogs didn't even let West Memphis on the board on Friday, marking the Bulldogs' second-straight 15-0 shutout. Considering the Bulldogs have won 18 matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Emma Davis looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bristen Wheeler was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddyx Soden, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Tuckerman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Memphis only posted an OBP of .154.
Meanwhile, Westside posted their closest victory since April 11, 2024 on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Brookland 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.
Mckyna Craig spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.
At the plate, Westside's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kimber Wynn, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Another was Vada Watkins, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Tuckerman's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Westside, their record is now 18-6.
Everything went Tuckerman's way against Westside in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Tuckerman made off with an 8-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
