The Belmont Bison pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Linden-McKinley. Belmont lost against Linden-McKinley in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 76-67 score last time.

Calahan scored a full 32.7% of Belmont's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Denzell Ogle, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Linden-McKinley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belmont will take on Stivers School for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stivers School for the Arts and Belmont are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Linden-McKinley, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Mifflin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
