Volleyball Recap: Paris Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Paris waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Charleston Trojans by a score of 2-0. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Trojans, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Paris not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Charleston between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17.

Paris' offense was headlined by Eva Smith and Abby Clodfelder, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Kailey Young and her 21 assists. Alyssa Martin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Paris' win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Paris will head out to take on Hutsonville/Palestine at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charleston, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cumberland at 7:00 p.m.
