Williamstown is 0-10 against Wahama since May of 2018 but things could change  on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will take on the White Falcons at 5:30  p.m. Williamstown has given up an average of 9.8  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Williamstown came up short against  Nitro on Friday, falling  19-4. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Gracie Rush was cooking despite her team's loss,   going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kyla Myer, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Wahama waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by  a  21-4 margin over the Tornadoes. The result was nothing new for the White Falcons, who have now won 13 games by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 Elissa Hoffman made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with five  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kalyn Christian, who  went 4-for-5 with four  runs, five  RBI,  and one  triple. Those  four  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Kate Reynolds was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with four  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Wahama  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 22  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Wahama's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 21-4. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Williamstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.
 Williamstown suffered a grim  22-3 defeat to Wahama  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
