On Friday, the Montgomery Catholic Knights kept a clean sheet against the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs. They blew past the Mustangs 4-0. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Montgomery Catholic considering their one-goal performance the game before.
They hit Stanhope Elmore with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

Sawyer Carroll, and
Aurora Lemuz.
The victory made it two in a row for Montgomery Catholic and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Stanhope Elmore, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5-1.
Montgomery Catholic didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw vs. Alabama Christian Academy on the 10th. Stanhope Elmore will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Thompson at 5:30 p.m.
