There's no place like home for the Northeast Raiders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Jordan on Tuesday as Northeast made off with a 75-54 win. For Northeast, this counts as revenge for the 51-50 defeat Jordan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
It was another big night for Jatavion Zellner, who scored 25 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amani Brown, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Northeast pushed their record up to 6-18 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Jordan, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.
Northeast will head out on the road to face off against Rutland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rutland has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Jordan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kendrick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
