The Burbank Bulldogs came into Tuesday's matchup having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 66-64 victory over Hoover on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Odartey Blankson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Burbank's points. Another player making a difference was Kevin Dehbashian, who scored 16 points.
Burbank's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-21. As for Hoover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

As for Hoover, they will head out on the road to square off against the Nitros at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Glendale is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
