Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond breezed by Blue Ridge on the road to the tune of 39-11. The team ran away with 34 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
Claire Seal continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's points. Another player making a difference was Addi Yeakel, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond and bumps their season record up to 18-12. As for Blue Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blue Ridge, they will be playing at home against Urbana University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for Urbana University and five for Blue Ridge.
