Despite their loss, Calexico Mission saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Leonardo Longino, who scored ten points, was perhaps the best of all. That was a full 50% of Calexico Mission's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
San Pasqual Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Calexico Mission, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
