He scored a full 61% of Westville's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Dillon Walpole was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Westville struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Portage pulled down 13 offensive rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kouts' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 49-34 to Marquette Catholic. While losing is never fun, Kouts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 388th, while Marquette Catholic is ranked 149th).
Westville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Kouts, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
