St. Francis is a perfect 8-0 against Wheaton Academy since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Wheaton Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Francis, who comes in off a win.

St. Francis is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since October 4th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Riverside-Brookfield 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was St. Francis who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 18-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Wheaton Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Aurora Christian on Saturday and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Wheaton Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 16-15.

St. Francis beat Wheaton Academy 2-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
