The Union Local Jets will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Beaver Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. Union Local has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 187 points over their last three matchups.
Last Saturday, Union Local earned a 60-48 victory over Barnesville. Given Union Local's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Barnesville is ranked 291st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Alex Moore, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gannon Kerns, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Beaver took a serious blow against East Liverpool on Friday, falling 86-44.
Union Local's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Beaver, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Everything went Union Local's way against Beaver when the teams last played back in January as Union Local made off with a 59-37 win. Will Union Local repeat their success, or does Beaver have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
