Keswick Christian will venture away from home to challenge Canterbury at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keswick Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
Keswick Christian blew Sarasota Christian out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Sarasota Christian got their revenge. Keswick Christian fell just short of Sarasota Christian by a score of 7-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jackson Sullivan was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Keswick Christian: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
In other batting news, Evan Lightfield was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Josiah Loeffler also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canterbury). They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over Oasis Christian on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.
Like Keswick Christian, Canterbury also got a great game from a two-way player: Braden Adorno. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Adorno was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brooks Merrill, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, four RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Tyler Woodward, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Canterbury always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oasis Christian only posted an OBP of .286.
Keswick Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Canterbury, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Keswick Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Canterbury struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
