Greene County Tech's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Gonzalez, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gonzalez has scored all season. Ava Carter was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven assists and three steals.
Greene County Tech pushed their record up to 19-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Searcy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.
Greene County Tech will take on the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Arkansas (Nettleton is ranked ninth, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 17th). As for Searcy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Paragould has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20.
