Bayside came into Wednesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 64-53 win over the Deep Creek Hornets on Wednesday. The Marlins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bradley Barham, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Josh Jamison, who earned nine points.

Bayside's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Deep Creek, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Bayside has already played their next game, a 64-42 win against Salem on the 13th. As for Deep Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Manor at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
