The North Platte Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Northwest Vikings with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. North Platte secured a 56-50 W over Northwest on Monday. That's another feather in the cap for North Platte, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading North Platte to victory were Jesse Mauch and Lance Gifford. Mauch scored 21 points, while Gifford dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Gifford is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon O'brien, who scored eight points.
North Platte pushed their record up to 8-9 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.
